Knife‑shaped sponge cushion
The function of the die‑cutting pad is to ensure that, during high‑speed stamping, the cut products are quickly ejected from the die so the machine can proceed to the next stroke. The pressure exerted by the die must be cushioned by the pad, which also facilitates die adjustment and protects the die. As a result, the stamped parts are accurately positioned and less prone to deformation. If the die‑cutting pad is improperly selected, it can significantly compromise the die‑cutting process—for example, leading to burrs and an uneven surface, rapid dulling of the die edges, or inconsistent cuts where some pieces are severed while others remain intact.
